Welcome to our Pool Cleaning and Maintenance Blog
If you have a variety of different materials in and around your custom pool, we know how to carefully and successfully clean them and not damage those materials, but extend their lifetime.
Algae growth can be prevented pretty easily in the winter by simply keeping your pool chlorinated. Having said that, it is still important that the other aspects of water chemistry are balanced as well. Doing this, you will save yourself from a stained pool surface and excessive mineral buildup around your tile line and water features.
It’s always easier to prevent now than to go back and repair later.
We install and calibrate variable speed pumps that run more efficiently. This reduces the cost of your monthly power bill greatly. These pumps also cause less wear and tear on your pool equipment, and are much quieter than your standard pool pump.
We make sure that your pool has pristine, clear-blue waters all year-round.
Whether your pool is setup on a traditional chemical system, or a salinated pool, we know the tricks for keeping each type as clean as can be.
Even in the valley, the temperatures occasionally get low enough to cause freeze damage. Last week, several of our customers had sprung leaks which gave them need for plumbing repair around the house. If you come across a water leak on your property, or notice that your water bill is much higher this month, then call Jake and we’ll come out to get your home back in proper order.
The winter season is the best time to drain your pool and re-fill it with fresh water, because the cool temperatures offer no threat to the exposed pool surface. You can know that it’s time to drain your pool by testing the Calcium Hardness of the water in your swimming pool. Changing your water will make the chemistry much easier to manage, and minimize unsightly mineral buildup around the waterline of the pool.
In-floor cleaning systems can work great with the right equipment powering them. This old Northstar pump was falling apart and upgraded to the new Whisperflo pump shown on the right.
Here we replaced a bad backwash valve that had deteriorated, and gave the plumbing system a touch-up by painting it all and labeling the valves.
If your plaster pool has dirt stains, or your Pebbletec pool seems to have a white foggy haze, then it’s likely that your pool surface is stained, and could benefit from an acid wash. You’ll know that the discolorations are indeed stains if scrubbing them with a pool brush doesn’t make them go away.
